Welcome to the Serenata Singers!

Serenata Singers are a S.A.T.B. community choir of 65 retired and senior men and women. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday mornings, September to May at the Wilmar Heights Centre, 963 Pharmacy Ave. Scarborough.

Throughout the year, the choir sings at seniors’ homes and community events upon request. Our prime focus are our spring concerts. This self-supporting choir has a membership fee of $60.00 that helps cover the cost of music, and rental space for rehearsals and concerts. Charitable donations are made from the proceeds of their annual concerts. Their repertoire ranges from folk, to spirituals to popular Broadway show tunes. Some sight-reading and choral experience is preferred. Tenors and basses are warmly welcomed.

In spite of a serious commitment to choral music, rehearsals abound with humour and warm camaraderie in a relaxed and fun filled atmosphere. For further information please contact our choir director, Audrey McLeod by clicking here: Information Request .
